Divide And Conquer

castle_on_fire.jpg

Let’s go to war:

Take up arms,

Aim for the core,

Ring all alarms,

Ready your ammo,

Build your fences,

Prepare for woe,

Gather all defenses,

Use words as blades,

Make actions bullets;

Can either be saved?

Honestly we shouldn’t

But blood’s been drawn

And scars take over

All before dawn;

No sign of closure.

Brick by brick,

Blow by blow,

Ever so quick,

Stones are thrown,

Shots are fired,

Cover is taken;

We’re both wired

As we’re forsaken.

Upon the battlefield,

Amongst the wreckage,

Neither of us yield,

Clear is the message.

A storm rages,

Both inside and out,

Traps in cages,

No room for doubt.

Love taken hostage,

Anger given control

As it spreads carnage;

Winning is the goal.

Hurt gets to reign,

A crown of thorns,

Neither side wanes;

Hearts are scorned,

Egos are bruised,

Beliefs are wounded,

Powers were misused

Then all was ruined;

Heaven turned to Hell,

Amity turned to anarchy,

The castle walls fell;

A handmade tragedy.

More lost than gained,

Ending in a stalemate,

Both have been drained,

We’ll call it checkmate.

Beautiful Disaster

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t uploaded much. October isn’t a good month for me ever apparently. I’m sure I’ll be back into my old self once November starts. In the meantime I have this for you.

She was one with pain, hurt, agony, destruction, and chaos. Every storm, every hurricane, every tornado, every wildfire, every earthquake, every drought; they all ran through her veins. She was a force to be reckoned with this way; she had survived them all. These disasters were her friends, and she was the most beautiful disaster of them all. Upon her body were the scars that told of life within the darkness. In her soul was torment, anguish, longing; she pushed herself to travel in search of something better but left a trail of damage in her wake. In her heart was ache and suffering but also wisdom and passion; the kind of heart one would expect to find in Mother Nature. She had eyes like the sea after the clouds rolled in and the touch of the wind grounded within her fingers. She had the power to breathe life into you or leave you gasping for air just by her presence. But it was this fear of suffocating that made them believe she was something to be admired from a distance, never up close. So they watched from afar, wondering silently why they couldn’t help but be enticed by her destruction. The answer was so simple though; it was because she was taking herself back. She was tearing down bridges, flattening false homes, and destroying already broken roads all in an effort to reclaim what she had lost.

We’re Moving On Up?

Hey Heathens soooo I thought I was gonna have some “ohmygsoh look at me” type news today but eh. The powers that be and all that are up to some twists of fate. Anyways, I just want to be nice and stuff since you’re all fellow bloggers too and stuff and I would hate for you guys to get suckered so here we go.

Yesterday I got this thing in the mail yesterday right? It was from the National Association of Professional Women. The letter is congratulating me on my hard work on the site and making me all warm and fuzzy saying I can go online and have a free 2015 membership. I was all happy and go-lucky thinking “hey, I’m finally getting noticed!” Then it kind of dawned on me that the way it was worded made it sound like I myself had applied for it which of course I didn’t. Then I thought about it more and was like: how did you guys even get my address???

I told a few close friends about it until finally one said it sounded fishy. Did some research and ha wouldn’t you know it? He was right. This woman told her story and she went even further than I did, to the point where she almost gave them about $700 bucks. I’m not sure if any other bloggers here at WordPress have been contacted by them or not so I figured I’d share with you guys as a warning. Stay safe and avoid scams guys. We work too hard on this stuff to give it up without a fight.

Psychology Says

Hey guys, so I have this quote for you today. I can’t say its a 100% truthful or not, so don’t go wreck your life or something over it lol. But I do believe it holds a lot of merit. A lot of the times the things we’re afraid of, we stay afraid of them because we give them that power and the only way to really get that power back for yourself is to face them.
